Day 82 (03/22)

so i spent alllll dayyy cleaning my apartment. first i did a bunch of laundry and then i needed breakfast so i went to go make breakfast for myself, which was a complete fuck up somehow. i went to grab the syrup bottle from my cabinet and for some dumb reason it toppled out of my hand, flew across the dining table and slammed itself on the floor where it cracked and syrup leaked ALL OVER MY CARPET. i quickly grabbed the bottle and threw it in the sink but then sticky syrup was litterally everywhere on the kitchen floor and the dining room carpet and some splashed on the dining room chairs and the blankets that were laying off to the side. it was a fucking disaster. so before i even ate breakfast i spent my life cleaning up the syrup. i stored the remaining syrup in a jar. there's still kind of a big stain on the carpet but everything else is pretty clean. i even mopped the kitchen.

ugh so i finally ate breakfast and vacuumed and got to chill out and watch tv and fold laundry and this is how toad repays me

mikaela came over to help me study for the vtne and it was a fucking disaster i'm such an idiot and i don't feel prepared at all. i'm gonna fail this motherfucker. after she left i just watched once upon a time and glee, where i cried multiple times because finn, and now i'm watching broad city and eating some ramen. fuck everything. hopefully i still have some pringles because i'm craving chips

Day 81 (03/22)

it was just drive back home to NM day. my mom made us veggie omelettes in the morning while we packed up but then she put tomatoes in mine and i had the gross taste in my mouth all flippin day. ugh it was a long drive i guess???

we stopped at the in-n-out in kingman because it's the last one we'll see at least until we come back

alex drove from my mom's to barstow and i drove from barstow to flagstaff and alex drove from flagstaff to ABQ. so yeah. we got home around 9:30. stopped by albertsons first to pick up some body wash cause we ran out and alex ran into jess. got home, switched the bedsheets and greeted the kitties and cleaned up a little, unpacked, and took a shower. after the shower alex braided my hair while we watched jackie brown before going to sleep

Day 80 (03/21)

DISNEYLAND DAY WOOOOOO OKK GUYS OK SO

my mom was gonna drop us off but she got confused because she usually parks in shuttle parking and she's never just dropped us off before ok she lives like 5 minutes away and it took us about an hour to finally walk in because she decided to go around to shuttle parking when she could have just dropped us off at the downtown disney parking lot but u kno, whatever right

anyway WE GOT THERE and got our world of color fastpasses (which we actually didn't even end up using) and we kinda just chilled, just walked around absorbing the magic. first we rode the ferris wheel, stationary, because i'm still traumatized from when my sister took me on that ride when i was like 10 or 12 on a non-stationary compartment and it was fucking terrifying. we kind of just looked around the park while we were on top to see where we wanted to go first. we ended up meeting up with julie and brenda and then we went to california screamin'!!!!!!!

i still need to practice taking pictures on that ride, but then again i never rode it until last time because i'm scared of loops. after that we got some dranks, and then rode the cars ride for the first time. it's cute but the fact that people waited in that line for 3 hours to ride it when it first opened is so not worth it

then alex and i wanted to get wet on grizzly river run but brenda and julie didn't so we just got fastpasses and then ate lunch. then alex and i went on grizzly river run while brenda and julie went to disneyland (we didn't have parkhoppers so we were just chillin in CA adventure) uhh after that, my mom called and told us to meet her at soarin over CA. we rode that ride and then spent a lot of the time hanging out with her and aubrey. we took aubrey to midway mania and then to king triton's carousel and then to jumpin jellyfish!!

after all that we met up with julie and brenda again and we took aubrey to the animation academy. first we did turtle talk with crush. crush said we were advanced turtle talkers. then we went through the sorcerer's workshop where aubrey found out she's most like alice. then we learned how to draw olaf. my mom ended up keeping my drawing, and aubrey's was all abstract

then we separated. alex, brenda, julie and i went to ride the tower of terror and then my mom and aubrey went to go get seats for the world of color. i finally perfected taking the tower ride picture!!

after that we hung around the mad t party and i got a lil bit tipsy. then we went searching for my mom to watch world of color. all our phones died so we couldn't call each other so we had to go looking for her. i finally found this mass of pink in the crowd and yelled "ZEBRA PANTS" and ran into the section to sit with my mom. it was a shitty spot and i'm sure our fastpasses would've been way better but u kno how life works

afterwards we started heading out of the park. when i stopped by the bathroom alex asked the pickle lady how her day was and she didn't even give us a free pickle

anyways we all said goodbye to each other and went home

Day 79 (03/20)

so thursday was our only free day really so we slept in. first thing i did was go with my mom to pick aubrey up from school because my mom wanted to see my 2nd grade teacher, mrs. martin despite me not wanting to. uhhhh so yeah. i met aubrey's teacher as well. she told us about how cranky aubrey was that day but probably because she hasn't been getting much sleep because i'm making her stay out and party with me

afterwards we went home and picked up the doggies and alex before leaving to go to aubrey's horseback riding therapy. we tried taking murphy and zelda but apparently they're a pack now and they're being super protective of each other so they were both unfit to be around horses and alex had to wait with them in the trunk of the car. it sucks and i feel bad about it still. anyways we just walked in circles for about half an hour with starshine, the horse aubrey was riding. 

after she was done we walked around the ranch and fed the horses and saw the goats and chickens and the newborn lamb and then went back to the car

after that we went to kmart so alex could get some swim trunks but it turned out he didn't even need them because we only hung around the dog beach for a little bit. it was still fun because it was zelda's first time at the beach!!! they had fun but weren't getting along with the other dogs there which i think it would've been fine if they weren't together because zelda is never usually that mean, but again i think she was just being protective of murphy

after the beach, we all went home and took a shower. then alex and i went back to kmart to return the swim trunks but he kept the muscle shirt because he looked damn fine in it. then we went to downtown disney to chill out for a while and eat at rainforest cafe. we went to the world of disney and i bought mikaela a kitty wearing mousears decal and i got myself frozen!!! wo0

then we went to starbucks and saw wesley. it was late and he was about to close so he was pretty busy but he hooked it up with some free drinks and at least we got to see each other. so yeah

Day 78 (03/19)

sooo today was my dentist appointment. pfft. turns out my teeth were super fucked up. i'm gonna need braces on both my top and bottom teeth, except i probably need my first premolars extracted so that i could pull my overbite back. damn it. i also had a receding gumline and she also mentioned my anxiety probably doesn't help because when i bite my fingers i'm effing up my teeth as well. my mom pulled aubrey out of school early so she could go whale watching with us.

SIGGGH. so after the dentist we went straight to long beach. we were there like 2 hours early, and my mom realized she forgot the printed coupons, which would've saved us about $30. so alex and i took a walk down ocean blvd to fedex. he quizzed me along the way while we enjoyed the awesome rad weather

mission accomplished, got to fedex and printed out the coupons. once we left the fedex building, we simultaneously put our sunglasses on and highfived. we even got an audience to watch. whatever

we walked back to the beach and then had a light lunch at chili's with my mom and aubrey. after that we went and lined up to wait for the boat to take us whale watching

it was a 2 hour ride and it took a while but we got lucky and did see some whales!! we saw 3, and a bunch of dolphins. i didn't take any pictures because the boat was moving really fast and i had trouble keeping myself up and aubrey at the same time because i wanted her to see the whales. alex took plenty of pictures and videos so at least we have those. the dolphins were swimming with us and the whales were blowing their spouts and stufffff and we saw their tails flip upppp wow!!!!!!!!!!

so that was fuuuun um afterwards we drove back home and i met my mom's boyfriend greg. he gave me $100. like dude idk u. dude. calm down. but whatevs, it's $100 i'll use it for my bills. we went out to eat at a korean bbq place where i got stupid tipsy off of wine, it was like average. and then went home, i read aubrey a bed time story, and went to sleep

Day 77 (03/18)

omfg so today was really fun. first alex and i went to kohls so alex could return a shirt he bought the other day but didn't realize it was a v-neck and he didn't wanna look like a damn square so he returned it, and then we met up with my mom at ross afterwards. she ended up buying us like a crapload of cheap clothes.

julie got to our house before we did and we hung out for a little bit before we left. i gave her the new mexico starbucks "you are here" location cups i bought her and brenda and then we went to fatburger. we found out there was a special happening at 3:00 or something, so we just went back to my house, got my VTNE book so that she and alex could review me on our way to LA and then went back to fatburger. first time at fatburger!!!! i left my phone in the car while we were eating so i couldn't take any pictures :-(

after fatburger we started our drive to LA and i tried quizzing julie on my own VTNE questions that SHE SHOULD KNOW because she's taken anatomy before duh. anyways before actually going to paleyfest we stopped by the museum of death because i saw it on tumblr and u kno

it was ok i guess!!!! idk i think seeing actual photos and letters from serial killers was cool. they had a cool siamese red eared slider i was really interested in. yeeeah

afterwards we went to paleyfest. it was cool, it was rad. i can't believe amy poehler and aubrey plaza and chris pratt and everyone are living breathing people uggggghg!!!!! it was a hilarious panel. 

it was also the same theatre the oscars took place. we of course we had to take a #paleyfestselfie

after the panel, we ended up only getting retta, jim, and chris's autograph. chris was pretty worth it because he's starting to get more popular and after that there will be like no chances to see him ever!! wahh

asdfasdf so it was purty cool day. we got home (no traffic for once in our lives) and julie stayed for a lil bit to eat dinner my mom unnecessarily and randomly made before she went home. pancit canton and lumpia.

Day 76 (03/17)

we went to the los angeles zoo today!!!!!! it was pretty similar to the albuquerque zoo but a lil bit bigger. probably the best part was the animal care center, because nobody was there, so alex and i were all alone. its where the caretakers took care of the babies whose mothers were unfit to take care of them. there were gerenuks and just a lot of squirrels. there was a cool setup for baby chimps but it wasn't being used at the moment. it was like a human baby nursery so that was cool. after a long search we finally saw some axolotls in these caves that were hidden all the way to the side of the park. here are the baby gerenuks we saw chillin out. the actual exhibit they were in was supposedly "closed" but guess what we found them

after we were done checking everything out we went to the gift shop so i could get aubrey a book to read for a bedtime story later tonight. then we went to reggie's cafe to get a drink and share a burger

we got home and then went str8 to medieval times right after. it was both aubrey & alex's first times, so they didn't know the green knight was totally gonna win, but since i've gone there so many times i knew and i was super upset when we were stuck with the black & white knight, urrrrgh

new things for me was taking pictures with the princess and the torture chamber, where we got to look at a bunch of different torture devices they people in the olden days used. it'd be cooler if we got to test them. pffFT.

anyways the green knight totally one, like i called, and the food was good, yadda yadda. we did have the cutest knight though but in the end he died first and he was nothing but a useless pretty boy. tch
