Day 82 (03/22)

so i spent alllll dayyy cleaning my apartment. first i did a bunch of laundry and then i needed breakfast so i went to go make breakfast for myself, which was a complete fuck up somehow. i went to grab the syrup bottle from my cabinet and for some dumb reason it toppled out of my hand, flew across the dining table and slammed itself on the floor where it cracked and syrup leaked ALL OVER MY CARPET. i quickly grabbed the bottle and threw it in the sink but then sticky syrup was litterally everywhere on the kitchen floor and the dining room carpet and some splashed on the dining room chairs and the blankets that were laying off to the side. it was a fucking disaster. so before i even ate breakfast i spent my life cleaning up the syrup. i stored the remaining syrup in a jar. there's still kind of a big stain on the carpet but everything else is pretty clean. i even mopped the kitchen.

ugh so i finally ate breakfast and vacuumed and got to chill out and watch tv and fold laundry and this is how toad repays me

mikaela came over to help me study for the vtne and it was a fucking disaster i'm such an idiot and i don't feel prepared at all. i'm gonna fail this motherfucker. after she left i just watched once upon a time and glee, where i cried multiple times because finn, and now i'm watching broad city and eating some ramen. fuck everything. hopefully i still have some pringles because i'm craving chips

Day 81 (03/22)

it was just drive back home to NM day. my mom made us veggie omelettes in the morning while we packed up but then she put tomatoes in mine and i had the gross taste in my mouth all flippin day. ugh it was a long drive i guess???

we stopped at the in-n-out in kingman because it's the last one we'll see at least until we come back

alex drove from my mom's to barstow and i drove from barstow to flagstaff and alex drove from flagstaff to ABQ. so yeah. we got home around 9:30. stopped by albertsons first to pick up some body wash cause we ran out and alex ran into jess. got home, switched the bedsheets and greeted the kitties and cleaned up a little, unpacked, and took a shower. after the shower alex braided my hair while we watched jackie brown before going to sleep

Day 80 (03/21)

DISNEYLAND DAY WOOOOOO OKK GUYS OK SO

my mom was gonna drop us off but she got confused because she usually parks in shuttle parking and she's never just dropped us off before ok she lives like 5 minutes away and it took us about an hour to finally walk in because she decided to go around to shuttle parking when she could have just dropped us off at the downtown disney parking lot but u kno, whatever right

anyway WE GOT THERE and got our world of color fastpasses (which we actually didn't even end up using) and we kinda just chilled, just walked around absorbing the magic. first we rode the ferris wheel, stationary, because i'm still traumatized from when my sister took me on that ride when i was like 10 or 12 on a non-stationary compartment and it was fucking terrifying. we kind of just looked around the park while we were on top to see where we wanted to go first. we ended up meeting up with julie and brenda and then we went to california screamin'!!!!!!!

i still need to practice taking pictures on that ride, but then again i never rode it until last time because i'm scared of loops. after that we got some dranks, and then rode the cars ride for the first time. it's cute but the fact that people waited in that line for 3 hours to ride it when it first opened is so not worth it

then alex and i wanted to get wet on grizzly river run but brenda and julie didn't so we just got fastpasses and then ate lunch. then alex and i went on grizzly river run while brenda and julie went to disneyland (we didn't have parkhoppers so we were just chillin in CA adventure) uhh after that, my mom called and told us to meet her at soarin over CA. we rode that ride and then spent a lot of the time hanging out with her and aubrey. we took aubrey to midway mania and then to king triton's carousel and then to jumpin jellyfish!!

after all that we met up with julie and brenda again and we took aubrey to the animation academy. first we did turtle talk with crush. crush said we were advanced turtle talkers. then we went through the sorcerer's workshop where aubrey found out she's most like alice. then we learned how to draw olaf. my mom ended up keeping my drawing, and aubrey's was all abstract

then we separated. alex, brenda, julie and i went to ride the tower of terror and then my mom and aubrey went to go get seats for the world of color. i finally perfected taking the tower ride picture!!

after that we hung around the mad t party and i got a lil bit tipsy. then we went searching for my mom to watch world of color. all our phones died so we couldn't call each other so we had to go looking for her. i finally found this mass of pink in the crowd and yelled "ZEBRA PANTS" and ran into the section to sit with my mom. it was a shitty spot and i'm sure our fastpasses would've been way better but u kno how life works

afterwards we started heading out of the park. when i stopped by the bathroom alex asked the pickle lady how her day was and she didn't even give us a free pickle

anyways we all said goodbye to each other and went home

Day 79 (03/20)

so thursday was our only free day really so we slept in. first thing i did was go with my mom to pick aubrey up from school because my mom wanted to see my 2nd grade teacher, mrs. martin despite me not wanting to. uhhhh so yeah. i met aubrey's teacher as well. she told us about how cranky aubrey was that day but probably because she hasn't been getting much sleep because i'm making her stay out and party with me

afterwards we went home and picked up the doggies and alex before leaving to go to aubrey's horseback riding therapy. we tried taking murphy and zelda but apparently they're a pack now and they're being super protective of each other so they were both unfit to be around horses and alex had to wait with them in the trunk of the car. it sucks and i feel bad about it still. anyways we just walked in circles for about half an hour with starshine, the horse aubrey was riding. 

after she was done we walked around the ranch and fed the horses and saw the goats and chickens and the newborn lamb and then went back to the car

after that we went to kmart so alex could get some swim trunks but it turned out he didn't even need them because we only hung around the dog beach for a little bit. it was still fun because it was zelda's first time at the beach!!! they had fun but weren't getting along with the other dogs there which i think it would've been fine if they weren't together because zelda is never usually that mean, but again i think she was just being protective of murphy

after the beach, we all went home and took a shower. then alex and i went back to kmart to return the swim trunks but he kept the muscle shirt because he looked damn fine in it. then we went to downtown disney to chill out for a while and eat at rainforest cafe. we went to the world of disney and i bought mikaela a kitty wearing mousears decal and i got myself frozen!!! wo0

then we went to starbucks and saw wesley. it was late and he was about to close so he was pretty busy but he hooked it up with some free drinks and at least we got to see each other. so yeah

Day 78 (03/19)

sooo today was my dentist appointment. pfft. turns out my teeth were super fucked up. i'm gonna need braces on both my top and bottom teeth, except i probably need my first premolars extracted so that i could pull my overbite back. damn it. i also had a receding gumline and she also mentioned my anxiety probably doesn't help because when i bite my fingers i'm effing up my teeth as well. my mom pulled aubrey out of school early so she could go whale watching with us.

SIGGGH. so after the dentist we went straight to long beach. we were there like 2 hours early, and my mom realized she forgot the printed coupons, which would've saved us about $30. so alex and i took a walk down ocean blvd to fedex. he quizzed me along the way while we enjoyed the awesome rad weather

mission accomplished, got to fedex and printed out the coupons. once we left the fedex building, we simultaneously put our sunglasses on and highfived. we even got an audience to watch. whatever

we walked back to the beach and then had a light lunch at chili's with my mom and aubrey. after that we went and lined up to wait for the boat to take us whale watching

it was a 2 hour ride and it took a while but we got lucky and did see some whales!! we saw 3, and a bunch of dolphins. i didn't take any pictures because the boat was moving really fast and i had trouble keeping myself up and aubrey at the same time because i wanted her to see the whales. alex took plenty of pictures and videos so at least we have those. the dolphins were swimming with us and the whales were blowing their spouts and stufffff and we saw their tails flip upppp wow!!!!!!!!!!

so that was fuuuun um afterwards we drove back home and i met my mom's boyfriend greg. he gave me $100. like dude idk u. dude. calm down. but whatevs, it's $100 i'll use it for my bills. we went out to eat at a korean bbq place where i got stupid tipsy off of wine, it was like average. and then went home, i read aubrey a bed time story, and went to sleep

Day 77 (03/18)

omfg so today was really fun. first alex and i went to kohls so alex could return a shirt he bought the other day but didn't realize it was a v-neck and he didn't wanna look like a damn square so he returned it, and then we met up with my mom at ross afterwards. she ended up buying us like a crapload of cheap clothes.

julie got to our house before we did and we hung out for a little bit before we left. i gave her the new mexico starbucks "you are here" location cups i bought her and brenda and then we went to fatburger. we found out there was a special happening at 3:00 or something, so we just went back to my house, got my VTNE book so that she and alex could review me on our way to LA and then went back to fatburger. first time at fatburger!!!! i left my phone in the car while we were eating so i couldn't take any pictures :-(

after fatburger we started our drive to LA and i tried quizzing julie on my own VTNE questions that SHE SHOULD KNOW because she's taken anatomy before duh. anyways before actually going to paleyfest we stopped by the museum of death because i saw it on tumblr and u kno

it was ok i guess!!!! idk i think seeing actual photos and letters from serial killers was cool. they had a cool siamese red eared slider i was really interested in. yeeeah

afterwards we went to paleyfest. it was cool, it was rad. i can't believe amy poehler and aubrey plaza and chris pratt and everyone are living breathing people uggggghg!!!!! it was a hilarious panel. 

it was also the same theatre the oscars took place. we of course we had to take a #paleyfestselfie

after the panel, we ended up only getting retta, jim, and chris's autograph. chris was pretty worth it because he's starting to get more popular and after that there will be like no chances to see him ever!! wahh

asdfasdf so it was purty cool day. we got home (no traffic for once in our lives) and julie stayed for a lil bit to eat dinner my mom unnecessarily and randomly made before she went home. pancit canton and lumpia.

Day 76 (03/17)

we went to the los angeles zoo today!!!!!! it was pretty similar to the albuquerque zoo but a lil bit bigger. probably the best part was the animal care center, because nobody was there, so alex and i were all alone. its where the caretakers took care of the babies whose mothers were unfit to take care of them. there were gerenuks and just a lot of squirrels. there was a cool setup for baby chimps but it wasn't being used at the moment. it was like a human baby nursery so that was cool. after a long search we finally saw some axolotls in these caves that were hidden all the way to the side of the park. here are the baby gerenuks we saw chillin out. the actual exhibit they were in was supposedly "closed" but guess what we found them

after we were done checking everything out we went to the gift shop so i could get aubrey a book to read for a bedtime story later tonight. then we went to reggie's cafe to get a drink and share a burger

we got home and then went str8 to medieval times right after. it was both aubrey & alex's first times, so they didn't know the green knight was totally gonna win, but since i've gone there so many times i knew and i was super upset when we were stuck with the black & white knight, urrrrgh

new things for me was taking pictures with the princess and the torture chamber, where we got to look at a bunch of different torture devices they people in the olden days used. it'd be cooler if we got to test them. pffFT.

anyways the green knight totally one, like i called, and the food was good, yadda yadda. we did have the cutest knight though but in the end he died first and he was nothing but a useless pretty boy. tch

Day 75 (03/16)

so we left new mexico around 7am and made like 50 stops along the way. zelda took a while to settle down so like the first couple hours was her crying. it wasn't that much of an eventful drive so yeah here's some cool pictures

first stop we made once we got into town was in-n-out!!! longest drive thru ever every time man. we bought some for my mom and aubrey and then we got home

we basically just got settled in and watched zelda and murphy play for a while. then we watched toy story 3 with aubrey and went to bed

Day 74 (03/15)

so we woke up and took my car to get serviced. while we were waiting we watched my cat from hell in the waiting room and let me tell u something the other people in the waiting room just pmo. "2 litter boxes is too much!!" "I would just declaw my cat!!!" like stfu you don't know shit, w0w. 

afterwards we went to twisters and then to gecko's to get Alex's charger because he left it last night. then we went shopping for snacks on our way to CA. we got home and i cleaned up a little bit while alex worked out. mikaela came over and then we went grocery shopping so she could have food for when she housesits. we got back home, cleaned up a little bit more and then left for el pinto for Jess's birthday!!!

el pinto was pretty fun there were a lot of people like 23 flippin people. jess opened my present first which was a hogwarts alumni shirt wrapped in a starbucks bag surgical pack style. she opened it sterilely lolll. Mikaela and i ended up sharing a quesadilla and some fried green chile strips. 

after el pinto most of us went to the ice skating rink. it was both mine and alex's first time ice skating so I was being a wall hugger at first but everyone helped me get out there and i ended up being flippin awesome, i only half-fell once. Alex just threw himself out there so he fell multiple times, plus he was going fast. jess showed off her figure skating skillzzz and shit. anyways it was pretty fun but my ankles and legs started hurting after a while D: i wanna do it again tho

we got home, packed up, and went to bed pretty late considering we were leaving at 6am in the morning for CA. the end

Day 73 (03/14)

so i was shadowing in surgery today we had 4 surgeries...somethin like that

first one was a cat who had just the worst teeth ever. he was the fastest surgery, but only because his EKG showed arrhythmias and we didn't want him to die on the table, so we hurried up with the dental and then basically recovered him as fast as we could. we did an EKG later on in the day and it was totally normal. so idk

next one was a dental + mass removal. i did the entire dental myself and then we moved him into surgery to do the removal, which was on his pad between 3rd & 4th digits so it was a pain in the ass to scrub...it felt weirdddddd

next one was a walk-in emergency exploratory on a vizsla. apparently this was just a problem dog. when the owner first adopted her she just had a bunch of UTIs that took a while to treat, and now she ate something rubber, looked like tire pieces. anyway we opened up the abdomen, made two incisions one on the stomach and the other in the small intestine and just kept pulling pieces of rubber out. the surgery took about an hour and a half ugh,

during the surgery a boston terrier came in with a seizure. it actually ended up dying, and the owner came in to say goodbye. it's like a stab in the heart watching a grown man sob that much.

we took a break in between surgeries and i spent it wrapping packs while everyone was at lunch. because alex had dropped me off and i didn't have my car nor did i bring lunch so hahahaha oops, i starved all day. during the break there was a HBC call some techs and doctors rushed out to get, but when they brought the dog in he was already dead. :/ looked really bad.

after break was done and the doctor came back we did a deciduous tooth removal and then an OHE. after i recovered her, i bounced.

alex picked me up, then we stopped by home to pick zelda up and then went to drop alex off at work. then i took zelda to get her HWT+HWP. i love how she just paralyzes when she knows something's up

after that i made it all the way to my dad's with the gas light on!!!! got my mom's credit card i'm supposed to use for gas, ate some sinigang, went to get gas, and then went home. cleaned up the apartment a lil bit more before mikaela housesits while we're in CA and then spent the rest of the night watching degrassi and broad city. i'm gonna watch jimmy fallon until i decide to leave to pick alex up from work

Day 72 (03/13)

so i shadowed in inpatient again, it was a little bit more interesting. one 8 month old kitty had possible toxoplasmosis, the owners adopted her from petsmart about a month ago and when they took her home she just wasn't as active as she should be at her age. she's been getting worse so the owners took her in and her ears have been seizing and she's had some nystagmus but other than that we've just been having to flip her q4h and we gave an injection of mannitol but it hasn't really gotten better.

then there was a foreign body dog who actually ended up passing a rock in his stool, but we kept taking radiographs every now and then and there were still what looked like pebbles in his GI tract, but they're not very dense so i don't think they're pebbles. we'll see what happens.

then a jack russell came in during the shift who just had consistent vomiting and had vomited 3 times since it showed up at the clinic. the owners don't think he could've gotten into anything and they didn't wanna test so it's being hospitalized and monitored for any signs of diarrhea or vomiting, which he didn't do any of at least until i left.

then one of the staff members' dogs is on chemo, so i was taking his TPR every 15 minutes.

also i helped set up and observed 2 dentals and i finally placed a catheter on a dog after...monday during the dental lab but before that it's been months

i found a tick on the floor!!!! and then i helped with the outpatient list while staff 4 was in a meeting, so i had the last hour to spare to do whatever and clean whatever. i also played with one of the doctor's bottle baby puppies awww.

after clinicals i had to go back to the horse lab. i was actually in a good mood besides the fact that i was hungry so it wasn't that bad but it's just boring as hell to listen and learn about a field i'm not even interested in going into. like i'm not gonna touch horses at all after this program. we just talked about dentals and sheath cleaning. i didn't help at all with the dental, but i did a sheath cleaning. i also taught some of my classmates how to make a slip knot and i cleaned cinnamon's hooves. uuuugh idk man here's some pics

after the lab i went to petsmart to stock up on some pet food, and then to panera where i got myself a sandwich and then i went home to eat the sandwich and now i'm cleaning up and writing this and yadayadaya i'm gonna go pick alex up from work soon

Day 68 - 71 (03/09-03/12)

lmao fml i'm so sorry

3/09 - so uh i basically spent all day cleaning the house and watching broad city youtube videos until alex came home from phoenix. i picked him and nayeli up from flying j and then nayeli went home. we were both super exhausted so we went to bed. at least that's what i think b/c i can't remember

3/10 - so monday was our dentistry lab. i was at southwest and we did one dental on a geriatric chihuahua. he had a bifurcation on his caranassial and only needed one tooth extracted that i ended up helping extract!!!! lila and i used the elevators to loosen the tooth and then it kind of just popped up. so that was new thing i did. we helped clean up and then went to pharmacology where we had a lecture on antimicrobial drugs and antiparasitics. got home, alex was at work, so i watched jimmy fallon all day basically until i had to pick him up.

3/11 - so i had clinicals in the afternoon. i shadowed inpatient for the first time, which was actually super boring compared to outpatient. even though apparently inpatient > outpatient. it's basically just keeping an eye on critical care and hospitalized patients. there were really only a couple patients tuesday so not much to do. we did a barium study on one of the staff's dogs because she might've eaten a castle and she was throwing up a lot. so we took radiographs every hour or so. in between those hours i was just trying to help with whatever i could. i felt like it was euthanasia day though. i listened to melissa do follow-up calls and one of them was for a cat with a heart tumor whose owners were just gonna monitor until they decided ~it was time~ but they were also bringing in another dog to have euthanized. :/ poor people. then a dog came in who was just ADR and when we took radiographs we found the dog had a cardiomegaly and possibly was going through heart failure. i sat with the dog in treatment for about half an hour watching him and keeping him warm (because his temp was crazy low) until the owners decided on euthanizing. so it was a pretty depressing day.

3/12 - it was my pharmacology 2nd midterm day so i showed up for school like 2 hours early. for our clinicals class she made us go around the room and say one thing we learned in pharmacology uggggh. but i was mostly concentrating on just studying. the midterm actually wasn't that bad so whatevs. then we had the cutest doctor give us a lecture on ruminant and equine nutrition in our therapeutics class.

Day 67 (03/08)

so today was mine and alex's 3 year anniversary of our first kiss!!!! aw!!! i actually woke up and alex wasn't even home what the hecking HECK. he got home and apparently he was at his friend's house. then again i did sleep until like noon. nina called and invited us to cold stone, so we both got ready real fast, fed the puppies and left. got some damn ice cream for breakfast. we sat and talked a lil bit and then we went to target to get an ice cooler for our trip to CA next week. then we went to spinn's because alex was still kind of hungry and we had some nachos and fried buffalo wings. felt super gross and wanted to puke all day.

then alex went through a series of phone calls involving his cousin in phoenix, who's in the ICU, had a heart attack and his organs were shutting down. his aunt wanted him and his sisters to go down to phoenix right away. so alex was going back and forth trying to get his shifts covered and everything and talking to his family on the phone. he got work taken care of and nina came over and then nayeli came over and they all left for phoenix and they're coming back tomorrow night. i super miss him already. we already don't spend any time together ever.

so after he left, i've just been cleaning the apartment like crazy and watching broad city. we have no food and i have no boyfriend to cook for me so i went out to mcdonalds. i seriously still feel so sick i've been eating like shit all day.

i'm gonna do some insanity and probably talk to sean on the phone and go to sleep

Day 66 (03/07)

so yesterday for clinicals i basically just attacked the outpatient list of things we needed to do and got all the AM duties done by 9:00, go meeee! then i watched an ultrasound for a lil bit and then did some appointments. one cat was a possible URI, an intact dog that was peeing weird, and a dog whose owners were really upset because she was just breathing weird and they had an entire history already typed up and we just ended up taking radiographs. i helped the receptionists file because they were super behind on it, and then i was pulled into surgery for the first time!!! two cats who were supposedly 6 months old, but toad is 6 months old and those cats were not 6 months old, okay. they were brothers named cheech and chong, one of them was a crypt, and they were both being declawed on the front paws :( i've never seen an onychectomy before. i watched the tech bandage the first paw on cheech and then she let me bandage his other paw. then i bandaged chong's paws by myself. after i was done cleaning up surgery i helped with a couple HW tests and found out while i was in surgery, one of the other doctors did a necropsy on a duck and i wasn't even able to watch. i almost cried, that would've been so flippin rad :-( but she kept the ventriculus and she showed it to me and there were rocks inside. sighhhhhh. also jess threw a muzzle at my face, so that was rude

i got home, and alex immediately left for work :( mikaela came over shortly after and we watched a couple episodes of the tonight show until jess showed up, and we watched 3 episodes of glee. i kicked them out because i was fucking exhausted

i fell asleep before alex got home :/

Day 65 (03/06)

so i had clinicals first thing in the morning. not much went on, i took on a bunch of appointments. shit i forgot what even happened. uuuugh this is what happens when i don't do these every day. hold on lemme go get my notebook to see what i did

fuck ok so apparently the only new things i did were become very skilled at using the chem analyzer machine and CBC and just learning how to work avimark. UUUGH i wish i knew what i DIIIIID. i actually depend on these 365s to write out my clinical logs when they're due. oh man. ok well the only thing i can remember right now is a dog that had vomitting, like every dog that comes in ever. there was also a dog that damn it i can only ever remember their owners so nevermind fuck trying to remember what i did at clinicals. anyway i left early because i had a stupid fucking horse lab i had to go to

i went and got twisters for alex and i first and we had some lunch, then i left for the dumb lab. all we did was a lameness exam on this horse and watched my stupid classmates put us all in danger by treating the horse like a dog and not a dangerous thousand pound animal that freaks out over any surprising noise it hears. the only thing i helped doing was take the most difficult DPLMO radiographs of my life. then we watched the doctor perform chiropractics on the horse and we helped clean and we left.

i got home but alex wasn't even here he wanted to ride his bike around. i cleaned a little and watched some tv until he got home. uhhhhhhh we went to albertsons and bought something i could easily make myself for the day after because i can't cook and didn't wanna wake alex up to cook for me. cashier dude gave me like, 6 monopoly game pieces. new favorite cashier. i only had 2 pieces that were new, but my mom and i are saving pieces for each other. i need that $500,000 dream home okay. then we got some dions and caught up to TWD and watched some grey's

Day 64 (03/05)

alright alright alright ok so wednesday damn it i suck at keeping up with these. uh???? fuck??? what did i even do??? in pharmacology we went over drugs effecting the urinary system and i think in large animal class we watched a video of a horse being castrated??? hahaha sucker. they did it outside, there were a bunch of flie flying into the incision and shit, like what's the point of even being sterile you know

i got home??? watched some jimmy fallon??? made butterbeer, picked alex up from work, while i was waiting there was a dude walking toward my car, i was like o shit i'm about to be killed right now. i stealthily locked my car door and turned off my radio so that there were no lights on in the car. the dude had like baggy clothes on and it's cold as fuck so he had to be hard enough to not even wear a jacket or anything. he ended up sitting on the curb by my car. thank god for tinted windows. i basically held my breath just in case he heard someone breathing inside the car. i quickly texted alex to hurry because i was about to be car jacked. turned out he was just waiting for his ride and i still feel like a bitch for being so judgmental

Day 63 (03/04)

alright so i had clinicals in the afternoon. not much happened. i walked in and immediately started helping with a shih tzu who needed an ear exam. ugggh flip what else. i kind of just cleaned and stocked a lot of the day. there were no boarders so i didn't need to walk anyone.

it was like, spaniel day. i practiced taking histories in a few appointments. a rabbit came in with an abdominal hernia. when we took radiographs, all its intestines were dropped into the hernia, so that was fucking weird. it's was hospitalized and surgery was to be performed in the morning. we also took radiographs of a cavalier king charles who had eaten a rawhide bone and was vomiting and had diarrhea for a few days after. i also had to do a direct smear because the owner brought in her stool. i had to leave after that so i never found out what happened to that doggy. i was scolded by a client who specifically asked for a certain tech but reception never told us, so i didn't know. my bad, lady. the tech she wanted in on her appointment was out to lunch anyway.

afterwards i got home and alex wasn't even here :( i called to ask where he was and he said he was at ABQ brew pub with shawn so i went over there to chill hang with them. we teamed up on alibi's crossword and had a couple drinks and some quesadillas and basically just talked about different shit. i brought up the hernia and shawn lost his appetite, oop. whatever. we went to shawn's place afterwards and i played a couple levels of the new donkey kong game. that shit's hard as fuck! what the hell???? i was getting stressed after the second level! damn

alex and i left for home and stopped by the store to get some drinks. we watched grey's anatomy and the walking dead before going to sleeps. he also introduced me to a new tv show broad city which i actually really like

Day 62 (03/03)

OKAY so school school school i had my dentistry midterm. hahah oops on saturday we were studying for dentistry, not pharmacology. o well

so our practical was supposed to be at 10am, and my teacher wasn't there and the classroom lights were off and nothing was set up!! so we were like um??? we have a practical??? in 5 minutes ago???? she finally showed up and it seems like she just BSed a practical. she was just like, alright guys, take out a piece of paper and write down everything you learned this semester!!! the fuck?! how are you supposed to grade that?? it was out of 100 pts!!!! omfg. so dumb. we had our midterm shortly after. turns out altogether i got like a 91. whatever, i don't even care

then we had pharmacology and had a take home quiz. i swear they baby us with all these take homes. afterwards i did my dumb diagnostic sampling assignment and watched the voice. then i went to pick alex up from work and went to bed

Day 61 (03/02)

alright so this day was OSCAR DAY i have so many gr8 tweets that i'll just follow that

but first i babysat my nephews. we were mostly playing pokemon but then elliott wanted to go outside so i stood outside with him for about an hour. when i was about to take him back inside, geoff came out and said he wanted to play too. so i was like ok. i basically just sat on the hammock and watched them run around the backyard for another hour. geoff eventually got tired and went back inside but elliott wanted to stay outside, i had to force him to go back inside. especially since it was windy and freezing and i didn't wanna stay out there any longer. he cried about it until he fell asleep and then i played pokemon until he woke up again and their parents came home shortly after

so i went to pick alex up from work and we tried predicting the oscars. alan was betting against 12 years a slave because you know, white people always win over black people. and i disagreed and said because there was so much controversy over it especially after the golden globes, 12 years a slave will probably sweep because the academy will feel obligated to. we went home and i found i don't have ABC on digital TV, omfg. so i had to look for a place to stream it online and hena saved my life. ellen was hosting and i love her so flippin much!!!! she's so cute. jared leto won the first award and of course the fucking internet blew up over it. i think supporting actress was announced next and it was lupita over jlaw LIKE I PREDICTED. then pharrell performed. sigggh, he is the cutest. then frozen won the two awards it was nominated for. uhhh what else happened? this selfie that everyone loves so much

then o man jgl and emma watson on stage together, i cried when they played the harry potter soundtrack, i was a lil bit tipsy. alex made me this caramel type drink that was really good. gravity ended up winning like 7 awards. idina menzel aka adele dazeem (or whatever the fuck john travolta was trying to say, jesus christ) performed let it go in which i sang along dramatically. Day 60 (03/01)

fml i keep forgetting to do these shits ok lets see so the first was a saturday damn i feel like i did a lot but i probably didn't. i watched daria basically all day while i studied for pharmacology. i'm really upset right now i was gonna upload some pictures for this blog but i friggin deleted them all!!!! i'm so stupid. least i posted a couple on instagram.

mikaela came over and we watched shaun white on the tonight show and then studied for pharmacology even more. tchea. kinda boring day
