Day 44 (02/13)

so today i skipped clinicals again lol just so i could sleep in. jess picked me up around noon so we could get our healthcare shit figured out so we went to main campus and walked allllllll the way up to the student resource center only to find out we have to go to human services to process our applications quicker, which we're gonna have to do another day because human services takes forever. so we just went to school stopping by twisters on the way and i gave everyone cute lil valentines!!!!!

so for class we ended exotics :( and started large animal :((((( first she went over all the projects we had to do which i might as well make an assignment list i have to do after this. then we went over an introduction on horses like their history and evolution and then their anatomy and stuff like that.  and then we played a dumb game where we were divided into 4 groups and had to look at a picture of a horse and its parts for a minute and then spend 3 minutes labeling our horse model and the winner won 5ec points. we came in second by 2 points and then talked about placing jugular catheters on a horse. then we practiced placing a catheter on a horse and then our surgical suture to secure them and the t-ports and then went home.

oh!! weird story!!! while she was explaining jug catheters to us i had a weird pain in my knee and then went to the bathroom to see what it was and there was a gash!!!! like something had cut me and i was bleeding and i got blood on the inside of my pants but i have no idea what it was because i didn't hit my knee against anything and there were no cuts on my jeans or anything so it's not like i had cut myself from the outside. fuckin weird!!!!!!!! and it happened while i was just sitting down listening to the lecture. ugh

anuway got home, tried watching brookly nine nine but hulu is being a piece of shit so i just watched the next episode of grey's anatomy. holy shiiiit! some of the interns are such babies though, seriously.

it's a lot and really overwhelming and i'm gonna try to get started on some this weekend since we have monday off and i might as well get all this stuff done before spring break so that i have time to study for the VTNE and enjoy my break without worrying about it even though most of them are due in april
