today was my looooong clinic day and i got to work with jessicanne!!! so it actually went by pretty fast. i got to do a lot today, including an appointment with iguanas!!! yayy!!! i love exotics uggggh i wish i could do more. i basically ran to grab that appointment. i got to handle them for like, 3 seconds just to get their weight, but that's about it. i got to do more blood slides and stains and i got used to cleaning stuff and the outpatient list of things we needed to get done. i also got more comfortable with calling clients and talking to them. i'm also getting a little bit better with appointments. i decorated a clay paw print and i felt so bad because the dogs name was "hamlet" but when i imprinted the name on the mold i noticed i accidentally spelled it HALMET and i almost fucking cried trying to fix it lmao. at least i caught it before it was baked. we had four boarders that were all crazy insane pitbulls. one of them bit me like 3 times (playfully) while i was trying to get a leash on. i felt so stupid trying to walk all of them because two of the pitbulls would just bust out of their kennel and pick a fight with the doctor's dog. after i got home jess texted me asking how i managed to walk them because she needed help, omfg. it made me feel a little less incompetent.
OH MAN i almost forgot WE GOT A HERMAPHRODITE DOG the owner brought it in because she wanted to get that "extra flap of skin taken off her vulva" but when we turned her over to scrub the site, we saw it was a fucking os penis. coming out of her vulva. oh my god. i've never seen one before so that was fucking cool
the other jessica brought her new pitbull puppy in!! omfg it was so adorable!!!!! it was flipping out so i couldn't get a good picture. demons of the night, amirite
i got home, cleaned up a lil and i was lazy so i just sat on the internet most of the day. then i found the energy somehow to do another insanity workout. afterwards i sat back on my ass. then i made a dentistry study powerpoint thing because we have a midterm on monday that i'm totally not studying for otherwise
i'm gonna attempt to do my diagnostic sampling homework and then watch tv until i pick alex up hahahahahah bye
