so flipPPIN CUTE. um i did a new thing, i just don't remember. during the dental i just watched for breathing since he had trouble probably due to his heart murmur which was only grade 2 but still. i never monitored at the shelter before ugh. so much pressure. i hate being responsible for a life. which is why i'll always hate anesthesia. we ended up doing 3 extractions of the mandibular incisors which were basically just rotting out anyway.
i finally got the hang of intubating really fast and i've become a pro at drawing blood. i had to draw blood from a dog in its kennel for a hw test really fast without any alcohol and like NO visible vein and i got it first stick!!!
after clinicals i went to school where we did a snake/bird lab dissection. cici and i got a snake. i wanted to dissect this giant poisonous rattlesnake but amanda said that it probably wouldn't be a good idea since it had CAUTION all over the bag. i still think it would've been easier. i ended up pulling off our snake skin and that's what everyone else did too except for jess and mikaela. i collected everyone's snakeskin and asked if i could take them home and make earrings LOL amanda said she'd check to see if it's ok first and put it them in a bag. look how cute we are in our labcoats tho

my allergies started acting up for some reason and i went to pick alex up from his friend's house and went home. started feeling really bad by then so i took some claritin, watched parks & rec, and went to bed
