so whats going on in the life and times of angelica WELL i woke up needing to pee and when i wiped i saw a lil bit of blood so i was like "oh god. it's happening" and this shit just snuck up on me. like i did not know my period was coming. i knew it was coming soon but i didn't feel sick or anything before it did like i usually do. anyways as i was getting ready for clinicals my uterus started hurting bad i was like "damn it this is gonna happen" and like the dumb idiot i am i forgot to take ibuprofen before i left so on my drive and throughout clinicals, just a shooting pain in my uterus. i'm a very forward and open person, obviously. i'm not gonna pretend like the shit that happens to my body doesn't happen because it happens. i'm not gonna come up with code words for my vagina or bodily fluids. so of course i was screaming about my bleeding vagina and uterine contractions all fucking day
and then we only had 4 surgeries so there wasn't much to do so all my attention was on my dumb vagina. no interesting cases today, there was an HBC that came in that we ended up sending to the eastside shelter for radiographs since he was walking on his hind legs funny but that's about it. i cleaned a lot. ugggh there was a dog that had really bad diarrhea all over her towel and i was the one who ended up cleaning it up of course. smelled so bad. after i was all done the doctor was like "let's parvo test her!!" um THANKS for parvo testing after i just cleaned her diarrhea kennel let's dO thAT. luckily it was negative but STILL
after clinicals i went to petsmart to get zelda some food and toad some kitten shampoo. got home, changed, fed zelda, finally took some ibuprofen, and alex dropped me off at school. as soon as i got there i just immediately wanted to leave. i stayed for pharmacology half crying because i was exhausted and hurting and hated life but sucked it up and took the quiz. we had lecture afterwards about routes of drug administration and stuff. afterwards we had a lab animal lecture from a girl from LRRI that works with mice and primates which i thought was pretty cool. they're always hiring so maybe i'll check that place out after i graduate for application. not to mention they pretty much pay higher than a clinic but ionno it's still not what i'm interested in. hardly any clinic or anywhere except for maybe the zoo or aquarium works with reptiles and amphibians and that's mostly what i care about. i still love playin with puppies and kitties
lecture ended early and everyone went home while i waited for alex to pick me up. once he did i drove to the bank to deposit a check my sister gave me like 4 days ago lol and then went home and alex and i passed out. idk why we were so tired
woke up, alex left to see his friends before they moved out of their house. i stayed home and watched degrassi and now i'm typing this. waiting for alex to come home with food since i've only eaten like one donuts and a butterfinger all day. we'll probably just watch tv all day. AHS coven finale!! ahhhh
